This is a retrospective study into informal care careers. A screening questionnaire was first presented to the entire LISS panel about the provision of informal care, i.e. the provision of assistance to acquaintances with health problems. Based on the screening, a selection was made among the respondents who provided informal care. This codebook and data set concern the main measurement.

Respondents that indicated in a previous questionnaire (in March 2020) that they were informal caregivers at that time were now invited for this follow-up questionnaire. The goal of this follow-up study was to establish whether the corona crisis had an effect on their role as informal caregiver.

In 2011 CentERdata started the Theme questionnaire. The questionnaire is
repeated regularly and each time consists of a number of questions about
