Together with the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment, TNS NIPO has initiated a research project in which we are searching for households in which all household members aged 12 and older keep a diary of the trips they make over the course of three consecutive days in a year These households will be part of an unique panel survey, set-up in 2013: the Netherlands Mobility Panel (MPN). Through this research, the Ministry wants to determine whether people make roughly the same trips each year or if conversely this changes from year to year. If so, which factors are of impact, resulting in changes in the trips people undertake. The knowledge gained through this research is used to develop mobility policy in the Netherlands and for scientific research objectives. You can read more about the objective and design of the Netherlands Mobility Panel at http://www.kimnet.nl/mobiliteitspanel-nederland.
