This study examines underreporting in response to filter questions. Respondents were randomly assigned to three different formats of filter and follow-up questions. To examine whether underreporting effects persist across waves of the panel, the study was repeated in May (Wave 2). Respondents were again randomly assigned to the three formats.

This is a retrospective study into informal care careers. A screening questionnaire was first presented to the entire LISS panel about the provision of informal care, i.e. the provision of assistance to acquaintances with health problems. Based on the screening, a selection was made among the respondents who provided informal care. This codebook and data set concern the main measurement.
